Pressurized
Conditioning is an exciting new and proven concept in producing
pelleted animal feed.
Pressurized
Conditioning processes feed in a sealed continuous processing
chamber pressurized with live steam. The steam pressure can
be held constant between 1 psi and 10 psi by the steam flow
regulator in the steam harness.
Pressurized
Conditioning processes feed at temperatures from 212°
to 230°. At these temperatures, the starch is gelatinized
to improve nutrient availability. Gelatinized starch also
acts as a binder to improve pellet durability.
Pressurized
Conditioning kills nearly all pathogens.
Pressurized Conditioning reduces the friction at the die to
reduce horsepower requirements and increase die life.
