Unique die feeder design feeds the pellet die from the rear. This new concept places the feed to be pelleted at the nip of the die and foller resulting in a more efficient pelleting operation, and also ensures an even feed rate around the entire circumference of the die.

The die of the PCI mill is attached to the front housing of the mill. The rollers are attached to the mainshaft and rotate in the die. The rear feeding technique distributes conditioned mash evenly around the circumference of the die. The die serves as the exit seal to the pressurized system.
